The 42nd edition of the Kenya Communications Sports Organization (KECOSO) games that was held in Narok town, came to an end on Saturday 26th August, 2023. The week-long games saw the participation of various team players in different disciplines (Golf, Athletics, Darts, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Netball, Pool, Scrabble, Snooker, Table Tennis and Swimming. The Ministry was number one in Table Tennis and emerged runners up in Pool game, third (3rd)  in Athletics, Darts and Football, (4th) in Basketball, Scrabble and Volleyball and in sixth (6th) position in Golf. The overall Ministry’s team position was number four (4) and the first (1st) position among other participating Ministries.

Mr. Abdi, Senior Deputy Secretary from the  State Department for Transport represented  the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Roads and Transport, Hon.Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen, EGH during the KECOSO games closing ceremony.

Narok’s Deputy Govenor Tamalinye Koech also presided over the closing ceremony at the William Ole Ntimama Stadium, where he congratulated the organizers for choosing Narok County to hold the games, saying that the games have boosted trade in town as well as entertaining residents.
