KCB Sponsors Sixty Boda Boda operators for Training Certification  

Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen officially commissioned the certification of 60 boda boda operators who have completed training on the operation and maintenance of electric motorcycles courtesy of KCB, KCB Foundation and United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
The event, held in Nairobi, exemplifies the immense involvement of the financial sector in addressing climate change, and their support for the Government's gravitation towards e-mobility as a way of promoting a clean and green Kenya. Further, these commitments will create sustainability and employment in the transport sector while improving Kenya’s attractiveness for green financing.
The CS urged the transport sector players and stakeholders to join in this noble endeavor and support the Government’s plan to enable the assembly of electric motorcycles in Kenya in line with H.E. President Ruto’s directive.
