E-Mobility consultative workshop Naivasha

Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, EGH, joined members of the e-mobility taskforce, at their consultative workshop in Naivasha, to check on them.

He said,

"I am impressed by the progress they have made towards formulating the country's first national electric mobility policy.

We are also proud of the rich expertise on the taskforce, and believe it has what it takes to give us the right report and draft policy, law(s) and regulations that will help drive our nascent eMobility industry into the future.

As the team embarks on the critical phase of public engagement I urge them to consult widely so as to produce a robust document that will guide the country's efforts to curb the adverse effects of climate change and cement our global leadership in renewable energy.

I also thank the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) for the support they have given us."

GIZ was represented by Ms. Jemimah Muli, the Technical & Policy Advisor, at the Promotion of Electric Mobility Project.
