Strategic Plan Launch - KeNHA

The Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport Hon Kipchumba Murkomen EGH today officially launched the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) transformative strategic plan.

The five year (2023-2027) strategic plan is a groundbreaking initiative that sets the stage for reshaping the country's road infrastructure.

The plan has a comprehensive approach focusing on key areas such as planning and development, road  asset management, effectiveness and efficiency, sustainability, and institutional capacity.

The Authority has outlined strategic goals in each area of operation while emphasizing the use of innovative technologies, data analytics, and modern construction methods to enhance road infrastructure performance, visual appeal, and environmental responsibility.

The strategy emphasizes the embracing of dedication to transparent governance, stakeholders collaboration, staff empowerment, and innovative financing mechanisms, all aimed at achieving excellence in national highway management and development.

Present was the Principal Secretary for Roads Eng Joseph Mbugua, chairperson of the KeNHA board of Management Ms Winfrith Ngumi and Director General for KeNHA Eng. Kung'u Ndung'u.
